yesterday I made a work of art featuring Greta Thunberg. There are a lot of people out there who are mad at her and think her behaviour is inappropriate. They forget that this is about the message and not the messenger.

Strange times when a girl is given this responsibility. Why haven't the politicians just started. It is not about ideology or religion. It is simply buildings some new infrastructure.

Really strange! I wonder, why the scientists seem to have no powerful lobby, since they knew it first. Seems like the most powerful people all rely/are sitting on fossil energy sources and have no interest in decentralizing energy supply through solar panels on every roof. They rather continue controlling fabrication, transportation and communication sectors, than saving the planet.

The powerful nod vigorously when Thunberg castigates them, not in agreement with what she says must be done, but in the hopes that nodding might be considered an acceptable substitute. This is an iteration of the guilt suffused throughout liberal politics, which often seems better suited to producing tears and slogans than genuine change.
