Start India, in collaboration with Asian Paints have been beautifying India with some amazingly over-powering and empowering murals. I had been waiting for this collaboration to come to Mumbai for some time now, and, now that it has, it's put up some great work.

This one is a particular favourite. It's Mahatma Gandhi getting off a train. It's aptly at the corner of Mumbai's Churchgate station.

Painted by world renowned Brazilian street artist, Eduardo Kobra, this piece, like his many paintings are bold in colour with sharp geometric shapes which almost give this feeling of a kaleidoscope. Some of his other works like Anne Frank, Albert Einstein and even Yoda from Star Wars can be seen adorning the walls of countries around the world.

Eduardo Kobra has now become a particular favourite of mine. Can't wait to see more of his work in person. (Great excuse to travel!).
