This is the 9th illustration for the board game. I work with @manoldonchev. It was a good challenge for me to make a sea using aquarelle techniques. First I put a layer of light blue ultramarine on the wet paper. Then made the sky with darker cadmium blue. It's better to make aquarelle beforе paper dries out, like most aquarelle painters says " On Prima vista".I had to save the brightness on the waves using а small piece of tissue to make little shines. I just substituted the brush and made a tiny lines with tissue while the paper was still wet. I had to be careful all the time because if I lost the btightness I have never achieved it again. This is the difference between aquarelle and oil colours for example or acrilyc...The last step was to paint a small viking ship on the horizon, moving by the waves.
Have a nice Sunday! Take care !
