Painting tiny cats on tiny notebooks ^_^

This morning, during our visit to Florence (a wonderful city close to the city where I live), we had the opportunity to buy something in one of my favorite store called The Flying Tiger! I like so much that store (there are stores like this in many cities all around the world), becaue they have a lot funny things to decor the home and also supplies for creative works. There are also excellent sketchbooks not expensive and we use to go there to buy them.

Today I bought some small notebooks with a simple cover in brown and I thought it could be a nice idea to paint one of my illustration on that cover to make them  "puuuuurfect" ^_^

So, I use my acrylic and watercolors to paint one of it:

After I share it with my friends on facebook, my friend Elena asked me if I could made something similar for her and so I'll paint a cover for another notebook thinking about one of her cat ^_^

To paint it better I could, at first I sketched the shape of the cat on the cover and I give some strokes of white acrylic color :

After, I used my watercolors to paint every details of the cat:
