Today I decided to sketch a sailor, I think it's one of the right subject to draw in the Summer ^_^
Sketcing this subject I added on hhim every things remind me the sailor man: the long beard, the wooden pipe, the hat and the stripes on the shirt. I have to say that I don't know sailor men, so I can think they have a very different "outfit" from my sketch, but it doesn't matter ^_^
It's just a fast sketch that I drew using the pencils and my ink pen, just to fix an idea and maybe it will be one of my next painting.
Well, now it's time to clean my house!

I love and teach sailing and I met many sailor men too: many of us have beards, many smoke pipe (I did too)...but as you imagined the light blue stripes are actually not so common on our shirts! :-)

Thanks so much for your comment, @cryptofarmer ! I imagined that light blue stripes are not common on the sailor shirt, but just in my mind lol :D I have to say that sometimes, years ago, I sailed with some friends, but nobody of them wear striped shirt :P
