Speed painting of a seascape, with @skapaneas

in art •  7 years ago  (edited)

Staring at the sea.

This painting is something I was working on the last days, it is yet another digital painting study for me which I share for my Steemit following to enjoy.

I am not painting with silhouettes since this is not the proper way to paint unless you are doing comics or something, I am approaching this (as most of my digital artwork) in a traditional painting way of analyzing values and tones and shapes.

I hope you will get to enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

Thanks for stopping by my art blog and make sure to follow me up for more.

disclaimer I am having a really hard time to convert my projects to mp4 with the music files embedded, I am trying to figure things out for at least 4 days now. Any help on that matter would be appreciated. It seems the playback of the mp3 is actually working, while it didn't at preview... I don't know.

See you tomorrow.

Nice that you show you need a palette in digital drawing also. I like it BUT I just don't think I would enjoy not getting messy and having to stare at a screen so much whilst doing this. Good on you for having the stamina to express yourself this way. I'll stick to a in real world canvas

I will try to get messy at one of my next posts for you. thanks for the reply I am very interesting to check you up following the click of my upvote for your preferences. Thanks for stopping by.

Ok never mind the sound was embedded as intended. I am still a newbie.

Thank you @otsouvalas for offering. :)

it gives you pleasure just to observe it...I imagine you get a lot of satisfaction when you have finally got it done, right? Anyway,it looks really really nice.

I am glad you like it man. thanks for taking the time to reply here :)

Don't even mention it!

Thank you anna!!

nice one

Way cool. What drawing program so you use?

Sketchbook from autodesk. desktop edition.

you're becoming better and better! I also love the song!

Thank you alexandra, don't worry the best are yet to come, I am spending a lot of time daily to evolve it even if you don't see that on my blog daily. I just upload a little bit to keep my following up and going until I get my head around all that new stuff I am learning how to handle.

Who said you can't learn an old dog new tricks :)

Interesting to see how you are doing it. I think it is a bit more difficult then traditional painting, but I may be wrong. Are you doing it for a while and what do you think in regards to fine lines is it possible to create them using digital tools?

I don't think lines can help with painting. if it is about sketching and you need to go digital then illustrator or something similar would work.

Greetings, Skapaneas.
As the video began to pass, the portrait of Van Gogh came to my head. I imagine it was because of the colors you chose to mount your painting. It was very beautiful, both the passage of the images and the music chosen. I found it very talented.
Thanks for the post and good evening !!!
