Hey there guys, this time I am going to do something kind of different but I hope it´ll help you to make a better art. So let’s get start it

Art is Hard

You may think that the only thing you need to start to get in the drawing media it is just a pen and paper and you are right, so you take that pen and start to draw from your imagination and zoon you realize that your draws sucks, and they don’t just suck because you don’t have the talent enough for to doing it as you please or your brain can´t tell your hands how to do the image that are in your head, and cannot come up with masterpiece in just one hour and then quick drawing.

From my own experience, it Is something that happens all the time to everyone who have start not just on drawing but in anything. As I always say it’s not just about the talent you may have, but it’s about discipline; for trying something new or already been learned over and over. But time pass and pass and you just don’t start to get better but tired that all that hard work it doesn´t pay off and looking for some others thing and do anything you can come up with. Because art is hard and I mean, is really hard like a pain in the ass; and why, why is so hard to get it?.

Its’ cause art it is not just a skill is the result of mastering some other skills, like for example learn how to see, how to control your arm/brain interactions, master the values after go for the colors you see, anatomy, gesture; A lot of information than one cannot come up with in months, it takes years and years of practice this individuals skills than helps us to get better and drawing, that is why is so hard and having learning this skill will let us to the path of good drawing.

I used to think than for to draw something you first should know how it works and it is kind of true

Met the ´why Is it for´ of your tools

Have you ever heard of its not the size, it’s about how you use it? Well this applies here, but it’s not about the size It is about the media, the media you use for drawing, a pen, a pencil, a tip pen, fountain pen, markets, oil, pastel, charcoal, watercolors, etc. It doesn’t matter. If you can use one you can use all of them, and let me explain something first so you can have a better idea of what I am talking about

Have you ever think what lines are?

Lines are just a representation of the shadows, in a with paper we use dark tones to make them appear 3d or vice versa, we use light colors over tone paper to give it volume. There’s not such a thing like lines in real life but volumes, our eyes trick us to the show a representation of the world like 3d, and it is the job of an artist to trick you to mold a 3d form on a 2d surface.

So with that in mind there’s not need to look for the media, if you have something in your hands than can make a mark on a surface and then you can draw.

This is just and introduction, I am not a master but I am learning with experience and free art resources online. If you like this post and want more, let me know your opinions. I will try to keep this kind of contents putting me in the shoes of a very beginner artist who doesn’t know where to start
