Always something so satisfying when you put ink to paper.
Especially without following a line sketch underneath. These are all straight to ink illustrations.
I don't feel these really fit into my "usual" output but they were quite fun in process.
Floating pieces of land and Castles were stuck in my head for weeks.
I had to get the images onto paper or I just wouldn't have been able to move on!
I also seem to have a big thing for flying whales.
My first piece that had them guest staring in was of a flying whale playing Tetris with over-sized blocks.
Hope I can find that one again soon.
