In my last art post, I mentioned that I used to lead birding hikes (https://steemit.com/art/@slhomestead/crepuscular-coffee-break). There are plenty of mnemonics that birders use to remember the calls of different birds. Some of them are kind of silly - but they work! I noticed that there were several birds whose calls were "transliterated" to mention tea. So here is the first of three "tea birds" that I illustrated, the eastern towhee.
Anybody nerdy enough to know what its call is? You can hear its lovely, trilling call to "DRINK your TEAAA" at the excellent Cornell Lab of Orinthology website: https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Eastern_Towhee/sounds
