Hey there! A couple months ago I found myself suddenly curious about embroidery, it seemed to me that it was the sort of thing most people associated with grandmothers and old white pillow cases with flowers and bunnies stitched on them. While I love me some bunnies and flowers, I felt a desire to go in another more funkier direction. In the months since then I've experimented with embroidering on art, clothing, and more.

This avacado took about 4 or 5 hours over the course of a couple days, and I love how it turned out! It's really thick and sturdy, almost like a patch. I started by drawing my outline, and then any other lines where I intended to change colors...then at that point it's just filling in with either a single color or a couple. I wanted simplicity and the avacado to pop so I went basic.

Thanks for checking out my art! I plan on posting more of my projects so please stick around :)
