An artist made this digital painting, then asked me for a paintover (in a public forum many years ago).
I did this, he said it helped. Let me know if you want one too, I will do my best to try to give some useful feedback. :)
This one shows several common beginner's mistakes:
too much contrast in the deep background,
too much freehand airbrush,
too much saturation,
and, if it's supposed to be the same light (sunlight) shining on both the man and the moons, it's inconsistent.

LoL newbie mistakes, ahh I totally abused airbrushes when I first got a pressure sensitive tablet XD And there were so many of us using dodge and burn for lazy light and shadow that it wasn't even funny x_x
