That time I summoned Pepe.

in art •  7 years ago  (edited)

Some time last year I got the sudden urge to sculpt a Pepe mask.

The sculpt did not take long because I used water based clay (beautiful stuff for working fast, easy to move around) I went and bought some Christmas tree decorations to use as eyeballs.

Finished the sculpt and then made a plaster mould, which I then poured latex into(plaster absorbs the latex creating a beautiful, even skin)

Several hours later I poured the latex out of the mould and back into the bucket, allowing the skin to dry overnight.

After taking it out of the mould, the mask was painted with latex and acrylic, eyes cut out, mesh glued in etc

This was a very brief look at the process of one my my projects, I'll be posting more in depth articles about specific processes (sculpting, moulding, painting) hopefully I can be of some help to anyone wanting to create stuff!

PS: sorry about the bad writing skills

OMG! Praise KEK, I can't stop laughing!😂

How many liberals will this affect?

I predict a #TrumpDerangementSyndrome epidemic spreading throughout your neighborhood. 👌

Yeah it hasn't triggered too many yet, either way.. praise be unto Kek.
