Tense to the End (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum 2019 Review)

Maybe this is a small problem, yes, you could say it’s small. Only sacrificing a dog and a car, (in the previous series), then John Wick started his action again, after a long retirement from the largest criminal association in the world. I just finished watching John Wick Chapter 3 – Parabellum. An action film that gives the best impression this year.

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is a Lions Gate franchise that was ranked first most watched this year, and earns a lot, beating Avengers: Endgame. This is the main reason that made me interested in watching this movie, moreover the many broader new dimensions, built in this third chapter.

This time John Wick (Keanu Reeves) presents a brutal shoot and fight action and has satisfied me, there are many elements in it, bare-handed battles featuring various martial arts, including Pencak Silat from Indonesia. A big and advanced step, this movie director has twisted his brain to satisfy the fans.

Synopsis

John Wick’s third series will tell the continuation of the fate of a hit-man who in the previous series has killed the lives of High Table members in The Continental. Continental is a peaceful hotel, there are no conflicts in it, this is a rule that has been going on for a long time. So, in this series, John Wick was hunted all out, and his life was auctioned at a price of US $14 million. Not only where he is, but he has also become a prey of various great killers. And, of course, John will be assisted by a mysterious new character named Sofia (Hale Berry).

Despite facing many enemies, here John Wick still behaves calmly, he is not depicted with a cruel protagonist, he is only defending himself to save his own life. But, the human side is still there, John is not overpowered, he still faces difficulties when defeating his enemies and the killers who came from nowhere.

Just to add, in this movie, you will also be amazed because the main villain is very agile and almost invincible. Zero, (Mark Dacascos) has become a tough opponent for John Wick. Another interesting side is a very exciting dialogue session, brought nicely by Mark.

With a neatly arranged storyline, I think this movie is worth watching with your friends. Don’t invite your child or Your underage young brother to watch this movie, because there are brutal sessions that might not be appropriate to see. I think carrying a partner is still not suitable. Alright, because this movie is still airing in theaters, I finished my story to review this movie. Have a good time watching!
