Altered Ancestors - Jazzing up old boring family photos digitally 🌻🍁🌻🍁

Do you have a bunch of old family photos hidden away in boxes because they are not really that interesting or because you don't actually even know who they are? I have a lot of those that I have inherited when elderly relatives die. I seem to be the keeper of the photos. This photo though, I know who it is. It is my grandfather Percy Pennington Pollock. He and all of his brothers had double first initials but he had the triple initials. Don't you just love alliteration?

I decided to alter his photos with an app with filters first and then I imported it into my Procreate app on my iPad and drew whimsical designs all around. Here is a video of the process.
