Embellished Digital Collage Prints In Antique Frames 🍁🦊🐦🍁

I had some beautiful old antique frames stored that came from my Mom’s house. They were just gathering dust in my basement. I was wondering what to do with them that would utilize their value the most. I decided to take a couple of my favorite digital collage characters and mount them on mat board and put them in the frames. That looked a little plain so I was pondering what to do for the borders. As I was driving one day, the thought of stylized trees came to me and when I got home, I immediately set to work drawing them. When an idea hits me, it’s almost like I am obsessed with completing it.

I have been mounting some of the prints on canvas and painting mandala like designs around the edges but these trees seem to suit the personality of the characters. I am inspired to do more now and to look for more ornate frames.

These will go on sale at a cool antique mall where I have a booth. It’s that crazy, buying frenzy time of year. Hopefully someone will fall in love with them.
