Lion's heart

I couldn't remember where I took this psychedelic beauty but then I looked closely and the artist signed with his name and the place he made this, thank goodness for pride and taking credit where credit is due.

Cozumel is a little island I went through as I was having to endure a 18 hour layover before hitting Colombia, instead of staying in the airport I decided to hit the roads and visited one of the most famous islands in the Caribbean meant for scubadivers. I'm not a scuba diver but I'm an avid street art hunter, so guess what I did?

I found this amazing piece that besides having an incredible style and being one of the most skilled paintings in terms of realism, it also combines the colorful and joyful emblem of the south americans and the realism of realist art. I'm betting this was a commission by a hotel owner or a restaurant manager that wanted to lighten up the mood of their patrons by having such a great piece of work on their walls.
