Rome is very beautiful. This is the Castel Sant'Angelo on the other side of the Tiber. It was originally the mausoleum of Roman Emperor Hadrian, built in 139AD, whose ash remains is still here inside but hidden away from public view. For the average tourists, you do not imagine that the whole structure is actually a tomb. But that is what it really is. The foreground is the bridge Ponte Sant'Angelo, also built by Hadrian, connecting to the City Center of Rome.
