Back to fingers

Today I looked through the tub of paints I have accumulated and 'inherited' over that past 12 months since I started painting.

I tidied them up and re-boxed them, but not before looking at them and at the tub of cotton buds (q-tips) on my desk (used for cleaning my PC) and wondering....
What would I come up with if I used them to dab the paint on instead of a brush?

Well, soggy cotton buds and painted fingers for one thing, but I did manage a small painting of a flower garden too.

So a year after I bought my first set of watercolour paints and a brush I'm finger painting with acrylics instead ... Oh what fun :)

Is that progress?
