Time to Let Go + Some Art

in art •  7 years ago

Hello everyone, and welcome to my "trying to be creative" part of blog. Someone recently told me I would make more money here if I would just pick one subject and stick to it. And I do love writing about my view of the world and philosophy the most, but I don't like the idea of restraining myself and my mind only to one subject.

I am always trying to be there for everyone and often enough I work too much. To that extent that I have to have everything under my control. That is not a good thing or feeling, because you are bound to get disappointed. Over the years I learned that sometimes you just have to let go, relax a bit and hope for the best.

So, like every time I work too much or neglect myself, I have to calm my mind and shift the focus on me for some time. What better way to do so than with paint, even if you are not much of an artist like myself.

Let's start from the beginning, I laid down all my paints and brushes, a gift for developing my untalented (but persistent) part of personality. I prefer to paint nature, and I don't really know how to draw or paint faces. And I almost always paint from memory, thinking about the serenity and fresh air.

Usually by the time of the first brush stroke I'm already there, concentrating purely on the sight, and trying my best to paint some resemblance of it. This time, a little old house, on the other side of a lake Vlasina (where my grandparents were born) came to my mind.

I planed to paint it just like it was, plane and made mostly out of wood. But that house had some beautiful aura around it, like a hidden place in the forest. It wasn't perfectly built, but it looked peaceful and safe. I also planed on having a blue sky and maybe some sunlight, but that soon became undefined. I love the colors, and how it looks, even dough I'm not sure what part of the day it is.

Adding the details is a spice for every story and every painting. Reflections in the water, different colors of the leaves on the tries, branches, bark on the birch tries (that I am strangely enough allergic to). Playing with colors and contrasts.

Adding some final touches. And my work is done after two hours.

I felt as if I was on that shore for two hours, not in my apartment. I love being in nature, and I miss the green colors of it. Winter is just not my best friend. I am trying to overcome that by doing some winter sports, like skiing.

But every now and then I need my warm day, water and nature to go back to my peaceful self.

Ready to go again! Are you?

With love,
Tamara

thats really so amazing art tamacvet 😍 great work

Thanks!

Dear Tamara,

You "might" make more money if you picked one topic and stuck to it... that's how a traditional blog works... but this is Steem... we're not here for topics as much as we're here for you. I honestly, truly want to read what you want to write, and look what you want to create.

I think that's the secret to this platform, you're the product, not your posts.

Anywho... this is super cute! The finishing touches made such a difference! Especially the window on the hut. It is amazing when you lose yourself in something calming and fun... my training can often be like that.. before I know it hours have passed.

Thanks for sharing!

Oh, finally a real comment!
I see your point, I was never a blogger before, and it took me a while to get used to it.
Maybe that is why I love it here so much!

I am not a good painter, but I love it :) It's like that for many things in my life singing, skiing, dancing. Not a pro in anything, but I do it anyway, without a speck of shame :D

I am starting with serious training next month, got to fit in that wedding dress, if you have any advice on bloating and how to minimize it feel free to DM me on Discord, any advice is more than welcome!

And thank you for your great comments, they always make me smile!

You're very welcome!

Ah, my advice is pretty simple, but I'm not sure if you're going to like it...

Eliminate carbs and sugars from your diet for 2 weeks, and see how your body reacts.

I think for a lot of diets, trial and error is the biggest way to work it out... what works for me might not work for you... but if you eliminate everything but veggies and proteins, and then slowly add things back in you'll smash that wedding dress and drop those jaws (not that you aren't stunning just as you are young lady).

Painting is one of the best ways of relaxation. Just follow your instincts and dreams and you will be always fulfilled and satisfied.

I think so too, it makes me super relaxed and centered!

very-very good picture ok I've vote.jangan forgot vote back

Nice! Keep it up. Painting is so soothing and takes you out of reality for a bit.

Yes, that was my plan, thank you for stopping by!

That's so beautiful and peaceful looking! Thanks for sharing the steps, very nice :)
