Painting: The harbour of Collioure

Original Artwork. As mentioned in a previous post in 2000 I visited the pittoresque village Collioure in French Catalonia near the Pyrenees at sea. Not only is Collioure a beautiful little harbour, they make excellent wine (13% alcohol) and serve a superb fishsoup. Not to forget the local specialty: anchovies. Wholeheartedly recommended.

In contrast to the previous painting I uploaded this painting was made with oil paint.

    Wow... The colors are fantastic, and the reflection in the water is so lifelike. Love it.
