Calling your flower(s) abstract, reminded me of my short stay at the Art College.
We were given an assignment to draw an abstract tree.
Next morning I sat with the paper on the desk and everyone just shook their head, convinced I'm going to get into trouble.
The teacher stood over me as he asked, "Where is the tree?"
I replied, "You said it must be abstract - and this was the most abstract I could make it be."
He started scolding me, but I stood up and told him, "Pablo Picasso said that no artist should attempt abstract art until they have fully mastered representative art. If I do not know how to draw a tree so that it looks real and alive, how can you demand an abstract tree of me? That you did suggests to me that you are not a good teacher, so I would be wasting my time by staying. I might as well go and become an accountant - as my father wanted of me."
I was a total catastrophe as an accountant.
