You're recent painting looks amazing! Your photography skills are pretty on point as well :) I am no professional, but I do enjoy art (painting and photography especially). My advice is to simply start focusing with the scaling and angles. The angle you took the photo at creates a super dramatic view on the structure so I would start with just getting those angles right.
