If you aren't familiar with the artwork of Steve Cutts, I have put together some of my favorite images of his that shows a side of modern human culture that can be downright disturbing. But that is what's it's all about in the first place. The first image is my favorite as it shows the results of the introduction of the smartphone into human society and how it has changed social interaction forever, and not for the better. The rise of the izombies!
These next three images reinforce the stranglehold that smartphones have on current human behavior. You are owned!
Watch your step!
Oh look! The newest version just came out!
He also likes to focus on the incessant consumer culture that has been cultivated over the last century in the U.S. and has spread like an infectious disease across the globe.
Black Friday Insanity!
How do you think your goods are manufactured in time for the holidays?
Then there is the other garbage that we consume, garbage information.
That garbage information (marketing and propaganda) keeps everyone participating in the rat race of life. Always searching for happiness, but never really finding it.
Those are some of my favorite images from Steve Cutts. Whether you agree with his interpretations of the current global paradigm that man is entrenched in or not, he definitely has an eye for the narcissistic and destructive behavior that man is displaying.
