All this great work has inspired me to start taking photos again, albeit they are all taken on my smartphone, or my waterproof camera, I am out and about snapping photos with my wife and getting my six-year-old Junior Explorer involved too! Steemit has had such an influence on this rekindled hobby that I plan to buy myself a new DSLR as soon as I have sufficient funds to purchase my weapon of choice!
Not only has this platform rekindled the flame of a past passion it has also given me the opportunity to invest in crypto currency which would not have been possible otherwise. I currently have a few coins in Bittrex and they have been doing pretty well since I only opened my account last month and only joined Steemit at the end of October! The platform gives me a sense of warmth, excitement and has opened my eyes to a melting pot of topics. A high percentage of these topics I wouldn't have dreamed looking at without joining this up and coming land of opportunities, fortunes and social interactions. IT really has opened my eyes and broaden my horizons to scores of pathways, but the question is what pathway should I take next? What pathway should I create? But there is plenty of time for that, as my current goal is to pursue the Explorer Family's, ride my mountain bike as much as possible and of course acquire a more finely tuned palate for the resurrection of my photographic desires.
It would be great to find out how Steemit has influenced, inspired and transformed fellow Steemians, so it would be great if you could share your Steemit experiences in the comments below, I really look forward to hearing from you all and I bet there are some amazing stories from the community!
So the next logical progression of this article would be to show you what I've been up to with my little hand-held Kodak snappers! My photographs in this post are from a fantastic exploration of a canal path on the outskirts of Bangkok that Mrs Explorer(@asianeye) and I fortunately stumbled upon just before Christmas. I know I have a long way to go in comparison to some of the awe-inspiring work I have discovered on Steemit, but I have merely begun my journey and can't wait to see where it takes me. At the bottom of this page I will drop a couple of links from my other canal discoveries. Please check them out when you have a moment free! But I guess there aren't too many moments free once you enter the world of Steemit!
