We are currently rebuilding our website with a new theme - so temporarily this site is functional, but a construction zone.
Earlier today I got a message on Facebook from a fellow artist with a question about © Copyright. Seems I am the 'go-to guy' for some who are not up to the task of searching out answers for themselves. Just for this purpose I had almost forever a page on my VAG site dealing with just that subject. Following the Facebook conversation I decided to update the page with related relevant information, more links and videos. This is of general interest to artists I had gathered over the years:

After I was done with that I checked the stats on my site and found that one of the top pages people looked for was about H.R. Giger, so I called up the page and discovered, like on many other pages, the elimination of Flash has created a mess on that page. So I hunted down the relevant information and updated this page as well. You will find a whole bunch of videos and images, links I gathered over the years about Giger. Check it out, and especially if you are a Giger Fan, you will not find much better anywhere and all in one place on the Internet:

My project for Style and Symbolism was on Giger... I did great scale research. And If he was still alive, the atmosphere in his recent paintings would not be changed if the saying that he was inspired by the events of the last century and his work is just a mirror reflecting the face of the world is true... And this is so sad. But therefore it's a warning... that we need to stay alert for.

Giger was killing it with his airbrush. A truly warped vision with occult overtones .. Alien made him an international star and though I like his work, I wonder if without Alien he would still be remembered. Probably as his vision is unique, and seriously goth. I like the way he explored grotesque imagery. Its a frightening place, his world, his dystopian visions were ahead of their time.

I'll definitely visit your site, Giger was one of the first artists that amazed me and made me look more into art. His participation in Jodorowski's Dune, with all the other talented people, would have produced an art masterpiece. Giger is also fascinating because his whole life seemed like a version of his paintings!
