Hello everyone. I've decided to enter into the SteemArtists contest. Here's my entry:
Now, Here's the process:
I place a blob of water on some old sheets of glossy paper normally used to print photos on inkjet printers. I drop a little bit of black india ink into the water and let it spread around naturally (sometimes I help it out a little with a paintbrush).
Once the blob of inky water has dried I then draw on the paper with various media. This time I used a micron pen and some permapaque pigment markers. Here are some pics:
I'm still experimenting with the process. I'm not sure how much I like the super detailed dry ink with the blobs of marker, but a fun challenge and I've got a couple more drawings I've done this way that I'll definitely upload in the future.
