StarWars - AT-AT build out of paper

A long time ago ... on a website far far away ...

... I came across some fun easy papercraft templates. After trying some out (like my Darth Vader) I wanted to try something more difficult.

After browsing a while I came across a japanese website with some pretty awesome templates with one being an AT-AT.

Now ... AT-AT's are just plain AWESOME. I thought it wasn't a real big project too, so I started.

'Not real big' was a mistake. The instructions were in japanse and not very detailed. The legs took up the most time, but you'll see why that was on the photo's.

Now... what's extra awesome with the legs? THEY CAN MOVE! (of course, manually)
All the joints are functional, so you move the legs around and place them in any position that you want.
