Australian Art Galleries are the perfect place to be on rainy, chilly or hot days. Australia has an abundance of magnificent galleries and museums - all well-worth exploring.
One of my favourites is the Tweed Regional Gallery which houses the permanent Margaret Olley exhibition.
The Adventures of Aecap, a current exhibition by Alasdair Macintyre (self referential character) explores what it means to be an artist.
The architecturally designed galley overlooks the lush green Tweed Valley, Tweed River and the iconic ‘Wollumbin’ Mount Warning. The land was generously donated by Doug Anthony, a resident and former Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the Country Party.
Galleries are a place to build a community, a social network for both artists and visitors. A place to lose yourself for a few hours and be enchanted by known and unknown creativity artists.
