DIGITAL ART WITH STEP BY STEP PROCESS | Lebron James Fan Art

Good days guys. It has been a busy week for me. There has been some problems at home, and there will be some major changes and I hope it will be for the better. But enough of that.

I'm here to share another artwork. This artwork style was inspired by Chiworld's artworks. I've been watching a lot of his videos on Youtube, and I really love it. I really like his vector style. And his tips and advices for people who wanted to start in digital arts. You can go ahead and check out his youtube channel at Chiworld1234. But for now let me share some of it on this post.

This digital artwork was also inspired by Lebron James. Yeah, I was inspired by Cavaliers' last game with Indiana Pacers. That 46 points and 12 rebounds was so amazing. But I really expected that from Lebron since he is the KING and he is really eager to steal that championship this year. He and his team will climb the championship with he's slick flashy passes, spin moves, step backs, blocks and dominating dunks. He is the goat. Yes, he may have some rough nights but he always make sure to make up for that in the end.

Back when he was in highschool, he has always been called "The chosen one". As a freshman he averages, 18 points and 6 rebounds per game and he even lead his team to a 27-0 in the State Championship. As a sophomore, he averages 25 points 7 rebounds and 5 assists. He is the number one draft pick by his hometeam Cleveland, Ohio. And from there he has lived up to the expectations of people. And he just keeps on getting better. And you haven't guess it yet, yes I'm a big fan of his. And this digital artwork is my way of supporting him and his team Cavaliers.

Proccess

Let me share to you guys the step by step process of my artworks just in case you wanted to make one of this if you haven't tried it yet.

So first I looked for the best image I could find on the internet. This is what I got. Its too bad I couldn't get a more HD image than this to make it easier for me. But it's good enough for me. It is from this link.

Then I traced out the outlines and his beard. And I also drew the neck details.

I colored it first with the midtone.

Next is his hair. I wanted to achieve the fading effect on his hair. So, first I added colored the top of his hair black and colored his hairline a little darker than the midtone.

Then I used the brush that is encircled below, for the sides of his hair.

Next, are the shadings. I first colored the darkest parts.

Then, the second darkest parts.

Lastly, are the highlights.

And I colored the bottom of his neck a dark tone of red.

Then, I added the details of it.

Then I colored his eyes and lips with the flat colors.

And the details of it.

And lastly I just added a bacground color that will compliment the colors. And BTW, the small boxes below are the the color palettes that I used for the artwork, plus the black and white.
