Wow. First let me say, that while everything about this just fucking rocked, the soundtrack / sound editing just had me by the balls. This pulsing soundscape just put me in the JUJU world. The easiest way to tell lower budget films for me is usually the audio continuity between cuts and overall audio quality. This is top notch.

You guys did such a good job on this. It made me laugh out loud several times, and the entire thing had this unusual quality that is hard to put my finger on. Kind of dystopian, or maybe, super cleverly sarcastic? Some kind of disassociative, maybe psychedelic feel. Acting was on point and the script was pretty hilarious. The shop owner had me cracking up! xD
Dude, @vachemorte, the sound design was exceptional! I really like the juju theme songs(?) The one that opens the episode, and the real sleezy, sultry piece at the end. Again, an exemplification of the charicature of advertising. Very well done, man. I also loved the way that you broke the punk music at 4:38. It let the comedy soar through perfectly. I think maybe I heard a crime theme and a party theme? I really dig what you did here, man, and I think you did a great job. Insightful use of sound, and the overall mis-en-scene was unified and evocative.

We are pondering the same question about what we will do after feb 8.We will still own all the rights of this production which is what we wanted the most. Very cool, I personally really love the cult-y style/vibe. My recommendation is to try and do small screenings across the country- maybe use some of your steemit payouts to fund a tour, kind of like Kevin Smith does with his newer work. It's a lot of legwork and advertising, but this way you can more easily hit the people who would be into this. Be sure to bring merch (t-shirts and stickers!) and maybe even do DVD pre-orders at the door... my biz brain is working for ya haha
There's always festivals but honestly I see that avenue dying unless you find a few niche fests which suit the target audience, which would be worth looking into.

in this 2 month old post I express all my thought and experience submitting to film festival.
We sent more then one invitation to Kevin Smith to come here to watch our film (I doubt he receive any of them, if you are on twitter feel free to go drop him the link of the first episode :) When I saw Clerks 20 years ago it's the first time I heard actors in a film talking like me and my friends and I was pretty inspired by that. No tour for me because I have a corporate studio to run in my real life! But if we do need a tour promoter someday I now know who to call!!!

It doesn't happen to me often, that I have got a big grin on my face for minutes, while at the same time feeling a cold shiver run along my spine. That is what this did to me. There's so much to like about this, that I don't know where to start. From acting to soundtrack, from story to editing, from overall atmosphere/ mood to the B-movie/ 1980s special effects. I love it all!
I also feel that splitting it into 14 parts was a wise choice, especially with the average time span of humans these days. It gives the JUJU Gum Conspiracy a narrative music video - in the best way possible - kind of vibe.
It's people like you and projects like these that give me the hope and inspiration to one day try my hands again on a feature film or perhaps web series. And it's lovely to see how well it works on a platform like Steemit.

I agree that episodic seems to make much more sense here we are all in a rush and there is so much to do it allows people to digest it one or a few at a time depending on their own tastes! b-movie and 1980's style is totally accurate to describe our inspirations.
We have a cut of the film, of course, that is without interruption in one big chunk of 134 minutes.
It is a lot to digest in one sitting and that wouldn't be appropriate at all for this platform.
When I suggested to Julia to release here we watched the movie one time to see were we can do the cuts of each episodes and we realized that a series was the way to go.
