The strange beauty of the ruins, as the poets of German Romanticism would say. Something of that captures this painter in his work, beauty accentuated by the tones of the twilight colors that he uses. It is striking that it is an Islamic crescent and that on the truncated column of the front or side a human figure stands as a surviving consciousness. Thank you for allowing us to know these paintings through your photos, @velimir.

Interesting photographic work by Paolo Gentilini. The colors and textures are provocative. The ruins and the depth of field suggest that there is an untold story here. I love this photo @velimir and the title you propose makes it necessary for us to go to it (the moon), achieving a perfect balance. Congratulations!!

Man has always sought forms of worship. In this image man is a deer, a survivor, and a moon-worshipper. When Gentilini did this painting, I imagine he thought that beyond the ruins of the great temples, man and the moon will always remain as the great mother. Greetings, @velimir
