creating a nuanced house style pop art

Pop art is an art movement that emerged in the mid-1950s in britain and the late 1950s in the United States. Among the early artists that shaped the pop art movement were Richard Hamilton & Eduardo Paulozzi in Britain, and Robert Ruschenberg & Jasper Jhon in the United States. Pop art presented a challenge to traditions of fine art by including imagery from popular culture such as advertising and news. In pop art, material is sometimes visually removed from its known context, isolated, and/or combined with unrelated material.

Pop art employs aspects of mass culture, such as advertising & comic books and mundane cultural objects. One of its aims is to use images of popular (as opposed to elitist) culture in art, emphasizing the banal or kitschy elements of any culture, most often through the use of irony. It is also associated with the artists' use of mechanical means of reproduction or rendering techniques.

The color scheme in pop art style is bright and clashing. Choose two bright contrasting colors and a neutral to balance them out. Color blocks can also be used in furniture together with some prints and patterns. The 60′s style furniture will look great in a pop art style interior design. Think retro-futuristic chairs, minimalist sofas, and egg armchairs.

let's create creative ideas through art pop art in your home ^____^ :

Place the art facilities into the interior that are not used in interior design and get a modern version of pop art. Take the image of buildings, industrial products in retro style and comic book characters – now your interior has a truly stunning effect. The bright color palette of pop art will immediately spruce up any decor and attract attention. Hang them above fireplace, sofa, bed, or on the dining room’s feature wall.

Wallpapers with pop art images (portraits in the style of Andy Warhol or  Roy Lichtenstein) are the most popular solution for wall design. You  can use graphics, industrial images, and stylized female image and so on  – all that is not appropriate in the home design. Main task is a  creating spatial illusion.

Remember, pop art and wow-effect is inseparable. Therefore, the  abundance of glossy surfaces is the norm for pop art style. The more  reflected, thereby creating three-dimensional images – the better.

It is important not to overload the space. The color scheme in pop art  style is bright and clashing. Choose two bright contrasting colors and a  neutral to balance them out.

The pop art furniture is original and futuristic. As a rule, it is  bright, rounded shapes. Such a geometry and colors can give only plastic  – so this material – this is another characteristic of the pop art  furniture. The 60′s style furniture will look great in a pop art style  interior design.
