Little Karoo Blues - an original painting

The Little Karoo in South Africa is an atmospheric semi-desert area. In late winter the aloes start to bloom providing bright flames in the landscape. I was inspired to paint this impressionistic landscape done in acrylic with oil highlights. Hope you enjoy.
