Optical Art for you to do at home...called The X Factor. This video clip utilises an easy Optical Art pattern to create a simple, yet effective design. My friend Jay, the photographer of this clip, came up with this name, hence the title. He saw the multiple X-patterns in this design and I love his description of this pattern. It is a very simple pattern to do and easy to re-create. I added some colour to make it more interesting. By adding some dramatic red 'Sharpie' colour, it adds the necessary vivid contrast to turn this design into a really interesting graphic design. Definitely worth experimenting with. Whether you add colour, or not, it will always be an unusual pattern. Beautiful in black and white also.
You can use this art in a frame, as framed art, or laminate them as placemats, or just do this art as a meditation. There are no rules. Use this clip only as an inspiration.

Nicely done @xoxoone9 :) I love the dimension it has. It looks amazing before you embellished it.
