The Sickness

I was still experimenting around with fluid art and painting at the height of covid. I used quite a bit more than 'silicone' (which is to say, any silicone-based lubricating oil I could get my hands on at that time) than one should use. On top of that once it was 'done' and the canvas was covered it took a nice sporadic misting of WD-40.

The result was The Sickness:

I'm not talking about Covid. I am talking about the one inside us all. The darkness that lives within us.

The horrors and atrocities we can choose to inflict. You can't fight it or kill it because it will just win. But there it is deep inside.

When a big cat ambushes you on your hike or a desperate soul tries to victimize you, you may be thankful it is there.

Don't deny your dark side, don't let it drown out your light either.
