By this (some would say deservedly) little-known artist : the work is said by some to reflect the artist’s difficulty with the Hegelian Dialectic especially “ the elevation of matter over mind and a constantly changing reality with a material basis. “ Others have said that the work projects the artist’s gastrointestinal anguish . The medium of course supports the latter view, but it must be said that Guido used such material extensively during his “Vegan Period”.
