First Things First

I can never be too grateful for @bambam808 for giving me this opportunity to create a logo for its predecessor, @steemitgottalent. Before this whole new rebranding took place, @steemitgottalent has been organizing the first ever talent show on Steemit last year and a lot of Steemians have participated in this talent contest. Some of the Steemians that have taken part in this awesome talent contest that I can remember are @quinneaker, @karensuestudios and many more.

@bambam808 came to me one day and told me that he wanted to rebrand @steemitgottalent and because it would be under @adsactly that the name should change as well. So it was a total rebranding of the whole logo but the essence of getting amazing talents from all over the world join is still its top priority. @bambam808 is very passionate in rebuilding this whole brand because he knows that the community has much to offer.

Adsactly's Got Talent Official Logo

The Idea

I always wanted a logo for a talent contest to be bright, vibrant and modern. That was my primary aim for this logo. I wanted something vibrant to represent the amazing talents that would be shown on this contest. I wanted it to be somewhat colourful as well to show that there isn't only just ONE talent. It represents a variety of talents on this contest. It would be a mix & match of many talents from many amazing individuals all colliding into a beautiful display for the world to see.

I also wanted the logo to be straight forward, with huge main headline text with its caption to shoutout the compilation of this whole initiative. Lastly, it needed to look modern and techy, so I went with the polygonal style which also looks like the huge glass mirror used in dance studios for talents to practice.

Layout

I decided to go with this font as the letter 'T' looks like a roof. My concept is going to be 'All talents showcased under one roof'. So as you continue to see my design process, you'll notice I try to build like a house & a roof.

Trying to get the text and fonts properly align and adjust first. I always get the 'draft' design out first then only when I'm satisfy with it, I would proceed to adding the other details.

Here is the 'roof' I was mentioning about. Basically 'housing' all the talents under one roof. I also needed the roof to be thick enough for the Adsactly's headlining text to be in it like a neon light/signage on top of the theatre.

Key Details

@adsactly would be the headline/main detail for this whole logo. I envision his name to be like a signage right above the theater front entrance like it's headlining talents from around the world. Hence, it's on the roof.

Then I smack a vibrant background masked for all the text and it came out pretty nice already. But I still felt that the whole logo needed some supportive details which I then proceeded to add two main support captions for the logo.

Secondary Details

Added the words 'Amazing Talents' & 'Strong Community'. It is pretty straight forward but I would say....powerful words. Over the months, I've seen many amazing talents from individuals that even sometimes you THINK that you've seen it all, but another person comes and proves you wrong. The Strong Community is no doubt a question on Steemit because I know that there are many strong and wonderful communities on Steemit.

And finally for the finishing touch, I added the little star symbol in between the two captions.

TADA! The final logo! I really did enjoy creating this logo and I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome of it. It's pretty simple and straightforward I would say, straightforward enough to let you know that
