Art Challenge #10: The Hamster Wheel

For me this scene pretends to be a metaphor on the stupidity of human nature when it comes to the understanding and respect for life. From one side, the apocalyptic scene brings me to the fact that human race is not doing enough to protect and save this planet, by co-living in a respectful manner with its species. Instead, we blame nature when it responds back with natural phenomena like tornados, rain and floods.
However, no matter what, we move ahead - spinning up the wheel, like little hamsters.
Not wondering how the hell can we get off the wheel!!
