Me (@friendly-fenix) and my "steemit homie" @adelepazani decided to do a collab for "ART EXPLOSION WEEK 50" the theme of the contest is tarot. I have long been admiring @adelepazani's work with the major arcana, so I suggested that we should enter this contest. The tarot card is hand-drawn by Adele, it's her version of "The Sun".
I was very exited about this since the sun is very important to me spiritually and it's a great honor to collaborate with @adelepazani who is such a talented, skilled artist, her work displays such a unique and vivid imagination.
Here you can see the process, @adelepazani works with a pencil and a pen with a thin tip, as you can see she used hatching and cross hatching for the background.
I worked with layers in adobe photoshop to color the different parts of the card and to create depth, highlights and shadows.
The Sun's Meaning
As an inherently good influence, finding the Sun is a positive development. It is suggestive of personal gain, and that personal goals and joy are within reach, if you are willing to invest the effort to actualize them. If you are embarking on a new personal venture, such as marriage or beginning a family, the Sun is of particular influence.

Thank you, I have been dabbling with tarot-cards since I was a teenager, but Im not an "expert tarot reader" in any sense, but the cards and their symbology always fascinated me. Thanks again for your input @eaglespirit...

It was a funny and fairly spontaneous idea, I saw that their was a contest, and asked Adele to participate, but then we ended up collaborating, I thought the end results looked pretty awesome, it ended up having a underwater feeling about it that I did not expect, feels a bit like a sea anemone with sunken pirate treasure or something, very dreamy...
But there are plenty of really good artist here on steemit who also submitted things to this contest so I guess we will see how it goes.
