Artexplosion Vintage Art Challenge

Once again @juliakpondsford has come up with an intriguing art challenge. This one has a vintage theme.

The image was an old vintage photo that I got from my grandparents’ house which I layered over some pieces of fabric which I had dyed using berries and walnut ink. I digitally combined them in my Procreate app on my iPad and added a faint layer of bare trees over it to create lots of interesting textures.

I don’t know who the people are, but they look like a happy couple!
