WEEK 14: Theme DISTORTIONS

My entry:

Guardian Dog.

Inspired by H. C. Andersen's (Danish author) farytale Tinderbox (1836). In the story there is a dog with with eyes as big as tin plates (original: the size of "Round Tower"), who guards a vault/chest filled with gold. The illustrations and story realy made an impression on me, I can still remember it, many years after getting it told.
