I would to share another artwork of mine which is entitled the mermaid. We all know that mermaids are mystical creatures that is a half human and a half fish. When we are kids, we, always watch the disney movie the little mermaid as in the story, the mermaid rescued the handsome prince charming. He admired the prince so much that she gave up her beautiful voice in exchange for having a feet so that she could be with him. And because of that movie we always wanted to become a mermaid. It still has an effect on me whenever I watch or read something about mermaids. In my mind, I always pictured mermaids as beautiful maidens with beautiful voice.
In my drawing, I made her as beautiful as it can be. I hope you see her beautiful just as much as what I portrayed her in my work.
Here are some of the processes of my work
I forgot to take a photo of the sketch so it has some color of it when I remembered to take a photo.
I started colouring the hair with orange, yellow, yellow ochre, brown and dark brown.
The face was the hardest color because you really have to be careful in choosing thcolor of the face or the skintone.

Formthe tail, I used poster paint.
I used gold in painting the tail. The gold is mixed with green, yellow green and yellow. I super love this poster color gold which i bought in National bookstore.

Since, I used a watercolour pencil, I brushed the background with water tk make it look like that the mermaid is in the water.
I hope you like my work and remembered some of your childhood fantasies of becoming a mermaid😂.
