Random Anime Male Sketch - This is my first time to Draw and I do hope that you will like it

As I know drawing and me is not really in good terms. I do remember my stick figures way back in elementary and how i suck bigtime during art projects like coloring and etc.

On the other hand my younger brother is a freelance digital artist and that is his profession ever since online his name is Hey Xander that is his deviant art account link. He said that the reason why he draw really good is because he noticed my drawings way back and those are really not good so as a way of being better than me he hone his craft. ( You know sibling rivalry )

This time since he noticed that I am really not doing anything and he mentioned that I have A LOT of FREE TIME TO WASTE (He said that using his most sarcastic tone ever ) since he is used not to see me at home ( I am a corporate slave before I spend 16 hours a day away from home working plus the travel time) I decided to do something different.

I checked youtube and saw this tutorial How To Draw Anime Male Face Slow Narrated Tutorial No Timelapse and started drawing for the first time again.

I just used a regular pencil and a white type writing paper since I do not have any other materials that can be used. To start with as per the instruction you will need to draw a circle and then make a vertical line on the center of the circle.

Is this a circle? I doubt but let it be

After that is the chin part and neck part I just followed what was the instruction on the video and got this result. Then after drawing it lightly once I am sure that this is the desired size and shape, I slowly add heavy strokes.

Then the shoulders

On this point I feel that I am beginning to draw Ultra Man or Sperman

The eyes are just regular eye drawings, and then the nose I just sketch this symbol / on the line vertical line.

The ears are just like small oblongs, then the spiky hair, which is really easy to draw and my favorite part of it. It's time to play with zigzags :)

And because of that he doesn't look like Ultraman yey! After getting this result I can say that I am satisfied with what I did. Just need to erase the not so needed details like the marks earlier

And then shade it, add some shadows on the image. to finish it I added my steemit username and the website and then posted it on my facebook account.

Because I think that it is also a good way to promote steemit on my personal account in facebook
