Knee recove

in arthroscopic •  7 years ago

On the 19th I had a arthroscopy they went in and they clipped out my Meniscus and then shave down the rest of it to where it is now all even I was born with a flat meniscus which makes it more prone to tearing. If you are experiencing pain in your knee grinding popping I suggest that you go have a arthrogram done and have them check out your knee. Do not push it do not Bend do not run do not over stimulate your knee here are a couple photos from when they clipped out my meniscus. Sometimes it's just better to do exactly what the doctors tell you and stay off of it.IMG_20170620_191320_693.jpgIMG_20170620_191230_585.jpg

As someone who did arthroscopy long ago. Staying not active is the worse thing you can do to yourself. With no running, jumping, etc... Comes even more muscular imbalance and pain creeps to the thighs, ankles, lower back....
In addition, being inactive translates to high blood sugar, high cholesterol, fatty liver and heart problems.

I suggest you search for GotROM and UprightHealth. They got the real solution dialed in and saved my life after the arthroscopy solved some but not all issues.

You are correct also you can still do things to be active with out pushing it ridding a bike swimming situps all those things you should do if you can. Im saying dont push it after surgery give your body time to heal then go kick butt at being active... i hope your knee is doing well now

Thanks. I wish you have a quick and full recovery.

Thank you im getting better everyday
