Plagiarism is a huge issue. Relating to academics, books ,etc.
What Emma does is that it analyzes 5000 words from an author understands the writing style , the voice the author is using and compares it with the other article. Though Emma has an accuracy of 85% it is still in Beta Stage. It uses Artificial Intelligence to make it's decisions. I don't think it will work very well on blogging sites such as Steemit, because first it needs 5000 words to analyze a certain article, and people change the writing style according to various niche concepts. Nevertheless it's something to look forward to.
I honestly think that Steemit needs a good plagiarism detector, and for the near future Emma may not be the right choice but we should be in the search for one that is embedded in the platform itself. What do you guys think let me know!
