@stellabelle - I am impressed by the work of this artist. Your description of 'pain mixed with energy' is bang on target. Her pictures seem to somehow convey helplessness and dynamism simultaneously. Even her abstract art seems to be alive and flowing. Kudos on what you have done to help her!!
It is this spirit of Steemians, like you, that makes Steemit the greatest social media platform in the world in my view.
I am no connoisseur of art and am more in to wildlife awareness, as you are aware. However, now I have started supporting the conservation efforts by providing support to nature groups for buying equipment like camera traps and better camera lenses etc. with my post earnings. I hope I get support of steemians but I will keep on my effort. Anyway - just saying that you inspire me to do more!!

I'm almost completely new to steemit so please excuse me if i'm violating any protocol/politeness rule by adding this comment but I'm ABSOLUTELY moved by this post, not only because the art is so beautiful and inspiring, but because @stellabelle you seem to be someone with a really big heart. I know because I'm from Venezuela and ultimately I was drawn to steemit because of your post on 'A Practical Guide To Make $5 Per Day on Steemit'. I'm just starting and I'm sure it will be a long time before I can even make 1$ but I just had to say I'm amazed on how caring and sensitive to other's needs can a person be. In a hard situation, only knowing that 'good people' exist everywhere is a motive to keep going.
Anyway, just wanted to say, again, that all this is really moving and I hope this caring and sharing spirit reaches everyone's heart, even mine!

You did a wonderful thing @stellabelle. So happy to see you and other influencers do such amazing work on Steemit- promoting newbies and minnows and helping them gain more recognition. I have been working hard nonstop since the past 5 years and gosh, it has been quite stressful for me. Luckily for me, I found a career pathway that I enjoy but times were quite difficult for me and still can be at times. There have been times and still are times when I feel like giving up, but somehow I just keep going on. When a painting can move you in feeling the artist skill jumps from the very page it is trapped upon.
I hate to think how long it took to paint all of those lines. Such small fine magnificent detail. Must have been a very painstaking ordeal of love put into those paintings. I don’t even feel worthy of the opportunity to see them.
They almost seem like sadden beauty of a soul that just wishes to be seen for what is underneath but is covered by materialist things that the world has deemed as beauty.

Alrighty then. You do have some amazing talent and obviously are putting yourself into what seems like all your work. I'm not a huge fan of photos for some reason, nor even art all the time in general, but sometimes it's easy to like.

I used to teach at a Fine Arts high school and thankfully, for those few years in those students' lives, their creativity took precedent. Too bad life in general tries to kill that same creativity.
