-Curator's critique: Pascal illustrates colorful and whimsical artworks almost daily and has become an instagram star. This work is just in time for halloween--the blond witch seems like a young girl with her sporty socks. Her sitting on stacked pumpkins emphasizes the mostly empty space on the left, which makes the viewer focus on the exploding pumpkin with seeds. Also the face expressions are very contrasting: the pumpkins vs. the girl and the cat relaxing on her laps.
