I love how this story [and the whole Journey West] has been adopted across various Asian cultures.
Over here we have the Ramakien, and even though he is called Hanuman, he is the same mischevious trickster [and ally] to the core :3

The Ramakien is just the Thai adaptation of the Ramayana. I did a bit more checking about it and it seems like the connection between Hanuman and Sun Wukong isn't as strong as I thought, but the latter may have been influenced by the former.
Anyhow, I'm rambling~

A cloud would be the best place to chill I reckon, looks so comfortable XD If only they were marshmallow soft instead of just wet XD The angle of his stretched out leg concerns me a little, good thing he's a cartoon character :D The first I heard of the Monkey King was in the amazingly bad Monkey Magic tv series. The kids have watched episodes here and there XD
