Artists In Bloom Gallery No. 12 - Entries from @qiqi-power, @noki-power and @lelumunchies - Chalk Town

@qiqi-power, @noki-power and @lelumunchies are making this entry into the Artists In Bloom Gallery No. 12.

Creation is our everyday existence at the @gardenofeden,
everything from the way we grow our gardens, put the food on our tables,
offer our skills, raise our children, and think our thoughts.

The kids are receiving the benefit of growing up in such a creative environment,
and a place where they can freely be whoever they want to be.
Freedom of expression shows in everything they do,
including the activities they choose,
the games they create,
the clothing they design,
and the way they verbally express themselves.

Chalk gets used here on a daily basis on the driveway,
and here is just one way @qiqi-power, @noki-power
and @lelumunchies engage it.

They take their hand-me down girls our to experience life in the driveway.  
One of them, as you can see, is sporting her @qiqi-power fashioned hand-made duct tape outfit.

Of course there is food for them to eat.

@lelumunchies uses an old plastic bin to make the perfect shelter
near the chives in the chalk house neighborhood.

@qiqi-power uses an old bin too, and a towel and flag to decorate her doll house and outdoor patio.

Of course our nature girl @noki-power makes her doll house in the woods.

They create a place for the cats and all their kittens.

And draw winding roads and trails for easy access in visiting one another.

For many hours they developed their own little town.

Hosted their barbie tea parties and sleepovers.

Went out on walks together.

And got fresh air and sunshine all day long in the world of their own choosing.

It doesn't take expensive toys, lights, a/c, or direction for these children to expand their minds and express themselves in creative ways.  All of their time is their own to do whatever inspires them.  There is never a dull or boring moment, or times they are obligated to sit in a chair inside a room doing as they are told.  

Genius comes from such expansive expression.  

I'm blessed to witness the magnificence of their free childhood everyday.

I hope you too will hold space for the creative expression of children,
as they are our future.  
Their open minds,
ability to solve problems and come up with inspired solutions
is our best hope for a making this world a place worth living in.
