Picnic Food
Title of this art: Foot Tracks
Hi Steemies,
How is everyone doing in the artstorm sphere? I hope you are all inspired to participate so let those creative juices flowing. Today we have picnic food as the theme I chose to show Spinach and Sweet Potato samosas. I want to know how to cook this food in the future and what better way to start than to draw and see if it looks delicious on paper.
Here is the link to the contest details I hope you also join. Thank you to our host @deemarshall for this initiative. I can see the engagement and support from the artstorm community.
The Blue Bells
Scene 29: Samosa
The three little kids of Debbie are enjoying the experience of having a picnic in their patio with a beautiful view of blossoming trees from afar and savoring the cake especially prepared by their mom. Debbie was a bit bothered by the thought that her youngest got a darker hair color. She is still thinking of some alibis to tell just when the right time comes. Perhaps Brianna will be asking about it or even her own siblings might joke about it. Debbie took a deep sigh of relief and decided this is a beautiful day to be bothered by things that had not happened yet. Suddenly the door bell rang but it is left open. The guests came in.
Mrs. Bertie: Hello anyone home?
Harris: Clint...Megan...Brianna we are here
Debbie and the kids could not hear the guests greeting and continued on with their little happy picnic near their orchard. Mrs. Bertie put the food she prepared on the side table where the glass of water was. The television is still on but the Pinky and Spiky show is over. Harris turned it off quickly with a click of a button. Mrs. Bertie cooked spinach and sweet potato samosa and brought it to Debbie's place thinking that a surprise party would be a good idea. The samosa was packed in wax paper and it looks really tempting to eat. The aroma of it is irresistible. That is the reason why the field mouse was attracted to it.
Yes, the field mouse survived drowning. He is out of the glass now and is slowly preening and drying himself. The table is filled with water splashes and foot tracks. What is intriguing is, the tracks came in set of three with different interesting shapes. One came from the mouse, the other seemed from a pig and the third one is unrecognizable. Could it be that the field mouse was rescued by the cat, Via? hmmm how about the other set of foot tracks?
Mrs. Bertie: Oh there you are Deb
Debbie: Oh hi, sorry I did not notice you came.
Mrs. Bertie: I am with Harris. He misses visiting your kids.
Debbie: I know right. Come join us for our pretend teddy bear picnic.
Hope you like it. Until next time

I couldn't think of an idea on how to save the mouse but @organduo set the stage and I went for it.

Oh very nice story and picture today friend, and the little mouse is safe and sound. Hmmm.... was it kitty who saved him, or was it a couple little guardian angels? I’ve never heard of samosas, but I love sweet potatoes 🍠 and spinach! Great job dear @dinglehopper❣️

Thanks friend. Looks like the guardian angels saved him, basing it on the foot tracks.
